Here is a list of online bookstores:
For those who like to read Christian fiction &/or nonfiction: For those who enjoy a good cookbook:
**I have purchased books from all of the above sites and am satisfied with their services.**
If anyone else has any other sites to add to this list... by all means do so.
I was a member of the first five clubs at one time or another, but am currently only a member of the second book club... I was a member of the first four clubs several years ago for a few years, and I have had no bad experiences with them.

Re: Online Book Stores & Book Clubs
One of my favorites...and it actually searches Albris as well as other listings, plus single used book stores is:
Book Finder
I've ordered several semi-rare out of print Sci/Fi/Fantasy books through sellers on Book Finder and have been pleased. In fact, I've gotten a hold of two rare *signed* Ann Maxwell first editions through sellers on Book Finder...they are the pride of my library.
When I've ordered used books through Amazon's Marketplace, I usually pick the seller with the higher rating with more votes. I know I'm being a little paranoid about it...I mean, those guys had to start somewhere...but I still think it pays to be a little careful.
Happy hunting, Red

Re: Online Book Stores & Book Clubs
My parents have been members of the SFBC for years, and now that I've moved out, I've gotten my own account. I love the club and order books through them all the time. The best deals are when they put out omnibus editions of a series...usually books that never were in hardbound to begin with. And with the price of paperbacks going up, it's only a dollar or two more sometimes to get a book club edition hardbound. :::two thumbs up:::

I saw a commercial for the above site. They claim that you can get books for a whole lot cheaper than Amazon.com -- plus all kinds of other merchandise as well.

Re: Online Book Stores & Book Clubs
I just found a site that searches 58 online book stores (including many of the ones previously listed in this thread) and compares the prices!!
BestBookDeal.com
This way you can not only find your book but find it for the Cheapest!
