whooshorg.proboards.com/post/104486/thread phalon: Pretty much they’re all the same, and all a pain in the behind to write. There are so many different types of resources out there now – everything from books to magazines to podcasts to on-line videos – and the format for citing each one is different.
Some of the magazines I query for nonfiction articles require a bibliography for resources I intend to use, and even following on-line examples, I get confused about how to cite what. Then LX turned me on to EasyBib.
All you have to do is choose from about sixty resource types, type in the pertinent information in a menu, and it puts the source in the proper format. It’ll even alphabetize your list of resources, (a bonus if your brain is fried from staying up late trying to get it done),and transfer it to a word document format ready for printing. Cool beans.
I wish there was a site like EasyBib that does outlines; one that pulled the information from my head without me even thinking would be great. I’ve got one due Friday, haven’t even started, and really no time this week to get it done. At least I’ve got the bibliography finished.
