The song really is a traditional Gaelic tune, called: Fraoch a Ronaigh (Heather of Rona) -- from Destiny.
Music | Multimedia
Scroll down to M'lila | M'lila and download. It ain't from Destiny, it's a homemade version of the song.
Everywhere I searched I found that the Mouth Music album containing "Fraoch a Ronaigh" was sold out.

GoogleUS: Fraoch a Ronaigh+Mouth Music
GoogleUS: Fraoch a Ronaigh+The Cor -- Apparently a group called The Cor has released their first album called "Fosgail an Dorus—Open the Door" and it contains their version of the song "Fraoch a Ronaigh--Heather Of Rona".

This is what the Mouth Music album with the song "Fraoch a Ronaigh (Heather of Rona)" looks like. On this page, it's CD 3 (Song #20)

"In a time of Unlimited Internet Access, Web Designing, and Message Boards, a motley crew of whooshites band together to entertain readers across the globe. They start story threads and spin tall tales. Their imaginations, their high sense of "customer satisfaction," their gift for exaggeration; their collaboration will spellbound the world."

Joxcenia Joxcee - Bard
..I Came.. ..I Saw.. ..I Got Chased Off..
I'm hard headed, so it takes me a while to see the facts. But now, after all the Lucy & Reneé quotes that keep getting shoved in my face, I finally see the light... My fandom is neither wanted, nor appreciated. Therefore, there's no point in keeping and using this 'handle,' or in further supporting those who obviously could care less. ~Joxcenia: ex-Xenite
Mini-Mia Our Fairly Bored Mother
Card Carrying Member of Xenites Anonymous
"You've outed my character!" ~Lucy Lawless "Nope, they're married, man." ~Lucy Lawless
"Quite frankly, the finale was losing them fans. The less fans, the less money & support for future endeavors. So they had to try and win them back somehow." ~Mini-Mia
"All that money wasted. It would have been much cheaper for me to get a lobotomy." ~Joxcenia
"It's _our_ show, so we can destroy it by running off other texters if we want to." ~Crazed Xena Fans
"Hey, push the subtext view... who cares if it weakens the fan base and prevents future projects from coming through." ~Only-1-Vu-Domination-Baby!
Henrietta 'India Ana' Jones DNA Lab Rat Freak of Nature
Takers Never Cry, Losers Ponder Why, Then Just Give Up And Die.
"I was taught to share, and to not play with those who don't." ~Joxcee
"Ha! Take from those what they refuse to share and don't let them take it back." ~Henrietta 'India Ana' Jones
"Wow! Enlightenment can be very creative." ~Mini-Mia
"Oh great... I told you guys to nail _both_ doors shut. Now she's escaped and is setting forth her 'little plan.' We are _so_ screwed!" ~Crazed Xena Fan

Spoiler: Complete Change Of The Show?
Okay... I came across some unproduced scripts which contained Sarah, Gabrielle's niece. They are:
Melissa Good's unproduced Xena script called: "Fallen" was turned into an episode of the virtual subtext season.
The script called: "Sticks And Stones" deals with Alti. (Spoiler Alert: Don't read until after you have read the script.)

So Alti is destroyed and never returns in any future lives . . . then what happens to the eps: Adventures in the Sin Trade I, Adventures in the Sin Trade II, Crusader, Past Imperfect, Between the Lines, The Convert, Ides of March, Them Bones, Them Bones, Send in the Clones, & When Fates Collide? Just to name a few.
No Alti, no influence on Xena... no Anokin... no killing the Amazons... no helping the tribe take back their sacred grounds & freeing trapped souls... no belief in becoming the 'Destroyer of Nations'... no premonition of X&G's deaths at the end of season four... no foreboding of the prediction coming true... no going to the future to stop Alti... no soulmate connection... no trying to take Xena's baby's soul... no clones... no one to give X&G their memories back when their fates collide in Caesar's new world...
What would have changed in these eps and others? Would the change be for the better? the worse? Would Xena & Borias have become a family? Would she have been distraught and searching for a new path that led her to Gabrielle?
I guess it's a good thing this script never got produced.

Interviewer: You sort of became a bit of a gay icon couple didn't you? Was that the intention? It was never our intention. We were a bit surprised by that.[/ul] Lucy Lawless: ... never really thought of our characters in terms of sexual beings. It was about the love of our friendship.[/ul] Lucy Lawless: Yeah, that you play it kind of straight no matter what you're doing.
So you were playing it straight ... ?[/ul] Reneé O'Connor: Yeah. I was playing it straight.
*** *** *** *** ***
The first quote is from a video I downloaded:
LUCY LAWLESS Interview - Where Are They Now - (Australian TV Show)
The next two quotes come from the DVD Director's Cut of "A Friend In Need" . . . . If you go into the chapter/scene selections, it's # 3 - Katana Sword. It's where Xena and Akemi are walking in the snow and Akemi places a piece of paper in some type of bird feeder looking thing. Be sure to have the commentary turned on.
Part of the conversation starts at the very end of # 2. So, after clicking on # 3, just back up/rewind the clip a wee bit into # 2 and that should get you the whole part of the conversation.

I'm Joxcee the flighty, I ain't very brighty. I lucked into a co-admin job, where I protect the boards from Bob. I answer questions all day long, helping newbies to feel they belong. I'm Joxcee, Joxcee the frighty.
_My_ Xena & Gabrielle are straight, whether or not yours is. I don't give a booger's bum what quotes state to the contrary. Leave me to _my_ maintext, and I'll leave you to yours.

Bob be feeling mighty insecure about his shoe size. boB has trouble fillin' em. De woman gotta stuff em with newspaper.
Bob gotta make up for his lack of foot-length by trolling. De woman helps him in order to keep his ego up. Poor, poor boB . . . he be de woman in der relationship.
Ya get no respect from me, Bob. I don't like weasels. So, boB, how about taking some French lessons? I know De perfect teacher. I think you know her very well. {Go look in De mirror. You do drag very well. ------- NOT!} If that went over your head, Bob, go get de woman to bend over so you can stand on her back.
boB de troll, Thinks he's on a roll, Made a mistake, And now his face is full of cake.
Bob's dog, Lizzy, bit him on de bum and de woman had to use glue to bond de gaping wound. De universe don't revolve around boB, and so he casts his raging shadow over all involved in his universe to make them feel his wrath. Bob's got de woman and der friends to help in what he feels is de appropriate action in this matter of injustice. Face it boB, TPTB saw what a weasel you were and wisely limited your usefulness.
I don't see that you've hurt them any. I even doubt they give you any thought. Of course, if they knew who you really were, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to give you your dues.
Bob's not your uncle. No way! boB's De troll! De troll! Bob, we will slay, Upon De grassy knoll.
Poor boB. Gone & Forgotten.
